Refund Policy

Byengineers is built on trust. Your payment is held securely and only released to the engineer once you confirm the work is complete. This policy explains when you may be eligible for a refund and how to request one.
1. When you may be eligible for a refund
- The engineer did not deliver the work within the agreed timeframe.
- The delivered work does not match the agreed scope or description of the package you purchased.
- Both you and the engineer mutually agree to cancel the order before completion.
- You added the Company Guarantee and the deliverable did not pass our verification review.
2. When a refund may not apply
- You have already marked the order complete and submitted your review.
- The work was delivered as described, but you changed your mind or your requirements after the order began.
- Delays or issues caused by missing information or materials that only you could provide.
3. How to request a refund
Open the relevant order from your dashboard and start a cancellation or refund request, or contact our team directly. Please include a short explanation and any supporting detail. We may review the order’s messages and delivered files to reach a fair decision.
4. Disputes
If you and the engineer cannot agree, the order can be escalated to the Byengineers team. We review both sides — the agreed scope, the communication, and the delivered work — and decide on an outcome, which may be a full refund, a partial refund, or release of payment to the engineer.
5. How refunds are issued
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take several business days for the funds to appear in your account.
6. The Company Guarantee fee
If your order included the optional Company Guarantee and the order is refunded because the deliverable failed our review, the guarantee fee is refunded together with the order. The guarantee fee is not refundable where the deliverable passed review and met the agreed scope.
